Forex Trading Method - A Simple Method For Triple Digit Annual Gains

The Forex Trading method enclosed can be incorporated in your Forex trading strategy and will quickly help you make bigger profits. It's simple to learn, easy to understand and will help you make bigger profits...

Firstly let's look at a common mistake many traders make with their Forex trading methods.

Most traders think that prediction is the way to make money in Forex trading - but predicting is hoping or guessing and your predictions will end up like your horoscope! Markets don't move to some mystical mathematical formula - if they did, we would all know the price in advance and there would be no market.

Trading the Reality, Trading Breakouts
The best way to trade to get the odds on your side, is simply to trade the reality of price change, as you see it on a Forex chart. This means trading breaks to new highs and lows, breakout trading methods work and will always work for one simple reason:

Most trends start and continue from new market highs or lows and as long as markets trend, going with breakouts to new highs and lows will work.
Why Most Traders can't Do it
Most traders can't trade breakouts though, because they are obsessed with pinpoint market timing (which of course is not possible) and they think they have missed a bit of the move, so they sit back and want to get in at a better price.

As breakouts tend to carry on in the direction of the breakout, a pullback does not come and the trader who waits misses a great trend and profit.

A Breakout Strategy for Big Gains
If you want to trade breakouts then you only need a simple Forex trading strategy and it should consist of spotting trades on the chart and maybe using a couple of momentum indicators to confirm the move.

In any form of Forex trading system simple systems beat complicated ones because they are more robust and has fewer elements to break. If you don't want to make your own, here is a simple one that works.

A Breakout Method that Has Worked for Over 25 Years

The strategy below is so simple but has made millions for savvy traders and has just one rule which you simply follow. Devised by trading legend Richard Donchian it's outlined below.

Buy breaks to new 4 week highs or lows. When in the market, wait for a new 4 week low or high to be hit and reverse the position - simply keep buying and selling new 4 week highs and lows as there hit and always maintain a position in the market.

You can't get much simpler than that! Try it though and you will see it works.
A simple Timeless Method for Gains
If you want to use breakouts the logic is easy to understand and it's very profitable.

If you want currency trading success then with breakouts you know you are trading the reality and have the odds on your side and that means bigger profits and less risk - check out this trading methodology in more detail and you maybe glad you did.

Forex markets - Trading Internationally

International Trading: The Forex Market Style

Forex market is simply the trading of one currency for another base on the value of the two currencies involved. Almost all countries in the world trade currencies; it’s about buying or selling their currency for another country’s currency that involves determining how much their currency is worth in terms of the other. Therefore, currencies whose value is comparatively less than other currencies don’t get to be traded often, unlike those currencies that have high value.
The exchange of currencies happen 24/7 around the world, in fact, an estimated two-trillion dollars worth of money are exchange in a single day – a pretty gargantuan sum. Just imagine how many millions it needs to accumulate a trillion – let alone two-trillion – and this exchange happened everyday! This is one industry well loved by people who like to be involved in something where huge sum of money is handled everyday.

You can find in the Forex market just about every currency in the world that you need. For every currency in the world, there’s a corresponding three-letters symbol assigned to it for easy recognition during trading. For instance, the United States dollar is recognized as USD, Japanese Yen as JPY, British Pound as GBP, and the Euro as EUR. It’s not a crime to buy and sell different currencies in a day or trade one currency one day at a time. Forex trading is only facilitated by a broker or companies; they are going to charge for the transaction which is only normal. Therefore, consider you number of trades and the fee your broker requires before ending with a high transaction fee.

Trades happened everyday but the most actively traded currencies today are between the USD and the EUR. Next to this is the trade between JPY and the USD and between GBP and the USD. These currencies are among the top of the food chain when it comes to currency trading because of their robustness in the market. Currency trading is possible 24/7 because markets open and close 24/7 around the world. The different time zones around the world, in fact, are one of the major considerations when a trader engages in the Forex market.

Know that in Forex trading, you’ll only be presented with symbols and signs that could mean either a loss or a gain for your traded currency – this is true across all countries and currencies. For example, you’ll see symbols like EURzzz/USDzzz (where ‘zzz’ represents the percentage of trading and your margin for profit). Another example is AUSzzz/USDzzz if you’re trading between Australian dollar and US dollar. It pays to learn and study these symbols so that you would not be confused during trading; however, it’s easy to understand these signs once you’ve seen your Forex statements or your online receipts.

Forex Hedging Systems - are They Useful?

The objective of hedging a trade is to reduce the potential losses that may otherwise have been incurred without the hedge.

For example, let’s say I go long on the EUR/USD at price 1.4030. The market immediately goes against me an plunges to 1.4010, resulting in an unrealized loss of -20 pips.

In order to hedge against further losses, I enter into a second trade: shorting at 1.4010 (which is the current market price). This way, if prices fall even further, at least I won’t lose any more pips. If prices fall by a further 5 pips, I would lose 5 pips in my initial long position and gain 5 pips in my second short position, netting a total of zero pips.

The Problem With Hedging In This Manner

This form of hedging is very attractive to inexperienced traders who don’t really understand what they’re doing. At first glance, it looks as if hedging can stop a trader from suffering from further losses, while allowing for the potential of the trade to turn around in his favour. And this is the exact manner of thinking that causes many traders to mistakenly enter into hedging trades like the one I just showed you.

Here’s the problem with this method of hedging:

Even if price do turn around in my favour and moves back up to the price of 1.4030, I will still be suffering from an unrealized loss of -20 pips! Why?

Because even though my initial long trade broke even (current market price at 1.4030 is the same price I went long), my second short trade will be suffering from a -20 pip unrealized loss (remember I shorted at 1.4010), netting a total unrealized loss of -20 pips!

Forex Dealers Are Not All Regulated The Same Way

Only regulated entities, such as banks, insurance companies, broker-dealers or futures commission merchants, and affiliates of regulated entities may enter into off-exchange forex trades with retail customers. Therefore, you should make sure the dealer is regulated and check out the dealer's registration status and background with its regulator.
Although forex dealers must be regulated, firms and individuals can solicit retail accounts for forex dealers and manage those accounts without being regulated. Therefore, you should find out if these persons are regulated. If they are not, you may be exposed to additional risks.

You can verify Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) registration and NFA membership status of a particular firm or individual and check their disciplinary history by phoning NFA at (800) 621-3570 or by checking the broker/firm information section (BASIC) of You may also contact the other organizations listed at the end of this Alert.
You should protect yourself from fraud. Beware of investment schemes that promise significant returns with little risk. Carefully check out the firms and individuals you are dealing with. You should also take a close and cautious look at the investment offer itself and continue to monitor any investment you do make.

The market could move against you. No one can predict with certainty which way exchange rates will go, and the forex market is volatile. Fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate between the time you place the trade and the time you attempt to liquidate it will affect the price of your forex contract and the potential profit and losses relating to it.

You could lose more money than you initially invest. You will be required to deposit an amount of money (often referred to as "margin") with your forex dealer in order to buy or sell an off-exchange forex contract. Only a relatively small amount of money can enable you to hold a forex position for much more than the account value. This is referred to leverage or gearing. The smaller the deposit in relation to the underlying value of the contract, the greater the leverage.

Achieving Trading Perfection

Achieving Trading Perfection - Trade quality, not quantity. Take the best of the best. Get the big picture. If you haven’t previously come across such advice, or if you have and are not following it, it is time that you take these words to heart. But how?
Trade selection and adequate planning go hand in hand. This is where most would-be professional traders miss the boat.

Much more money is made as a result of proper planning than from sitting and trading everything that comes along or "looks" good.
It’s difficult to fully understand why people think they have to trade so much. It’s difficult to truly grasp why people think that they have to take as many trades as they do.
Just the opposite is true. There is a correct approach to each and every trade. That is what achieving perfection is all about.

It all starts with proper management: planning, organizing, delegating, directing, and controlling.
These facets of management must be woven together into your trading; they do overlap.
Although planning is the major management function involved in achieving perfection, you can’t possibly plan well unless you are organized to do so.
You must have your tools at hand: your trading software, your data, the proper equipment. All of the rudiments for planning must be in place, which in itself is a part of organizing.
You must be physically fit when you plan: well nourished, properly exercised, well rested and mentally alert - all part of having your life organized, all part of achieving perfection as a trader.

To be a winning trader, you have to be among the best. There can be no middle ground. There are only winners and losers, and to be a winner you have to be a champion. And, just like any champion, you must have discipline, self-control, and a willingness to train, train, train.
There are no runners-up in trading, you either get the gold or you give the gold. Often, while others are busy going to parties or watching sports events, you are busy poring over charts, studying, thinking, planning. When others are listening to music or watching TV, you are busy practicing your trading, practicing trade selection, working hard to become a more astute trader.
Part of achieving perfection involves the diligent study of charts. The data, as presented on your screen and preserved as charts, are, for the most part, all you have for making trading decisions.

They are a picture, a visualization of what is taking place in the reality of the market. Your job in achieving perfection and becoming an adequate trader is to picture and imagine in your mind what makes prices move and form the way they do. Ask yourself, "How does what I see in front of me relate to the supply and demand for the underlying?" Ask yourself, "Is what I am seeing on the chart even related to supply and demand, or is what I am seeing related to an engineered move by some insider or market mover?"
Supply and demand are not what makes prices move or fail to move most of the time. The sooner you realize that fact, the better off you will be. Markets are engineered, manipulated ¾ you need to know that.

But there’s more to a chart than merely price patterns. Reflected in the chart are the emotional reactions of human beings. Reactions to rumors and news; to national and world events; to government reports - these, too, are on the charts.
You might say that price movement, or the lack thereof, is the net effect of all the perceptions of all the traders who are participating in the market for a particular futures.
There is something else on the charts, something that too few take into account. That something is the manipulations from and by the insiders, the market movers, and by commercials holding large inventories of the underlying you are attempting to trade.
In achieving perfection as a trader, you must train yourself to look for evidence of any and all of these things as you study your charts. It is the cumulative action of all perceptions which causes patterns to form on a price chart.
